Dimensions are how big you would like to make it but it should be noted blue slime works like water and needs a full 17 blocks to fully flow. Also note if you don’t put space between the slime water and the wall you will need to make your wall two thick or the slimes will spawn in the wall and escape the box. This is why you see a line of signs around the edge in this spawner to prevent them from falling through.

i attempted to mimic your redstone design and for some reason i can not figure how to get them to open all up at different times – unless there is a timer not shown on camera somewhere.
