New to streaming does xsplit control visual overlays as well to make the stream look more professional or would that be a different program??
my stream gets cancelled by the server do you know why? my upload speed is the same as yours and I have a intel i7, gtx780, 32 gigs of ram and 32mbps dawnload speed.

Regarding the cpu if your using a capture card pci/usb pending the brand ie: lets say what you have. The avermedia capture card or the one i just got avermedia live gamer portable hd, does the cpu really matter as much with this type of capture card being that all of the hardware encoding is done through the card itself thus giving literally no performance hit to the cpu while streaming? Where is the elgato persay doesn't do all of the hardware encoding itself and a better cpu to keep the quality and frames up is needed. Accurate?

If you have a cap card even better.
Try 60fps if your comp can handle go down to 30fps.
Because your not adding your HDPVR to Xsplit your simply screen capturing. Make sure your default sound is your speakers prior to opening Xsplit as usually that's the case when there is no sound. If you want clear sound and picture add it to Xsplit via camera as I'm sure Xsplit should recognize it.
Xsplit needs money, I purchased mine when it was $30 for 2yrs in Alpha. Now if you want to live stream for free I highly recommend Open Broadcaster Software.

well i could do it to diff ways with my hauppauge or i can crop some of my comp screen out and open my total media extreme and get the picture from there but i dont get any sound idk y

Another solution is to try O.B.S some feature on Xsplit are only availble through the purchased version.
