It seems so strange because you can record audio from a mic and audio output on something like screen record. I don't understand why it can't work in a similar way over a stream

Im waiting on my el gato now. Do I need anything else to hook up for audio? I want to use my Astros for sound and mic with the phone.. but all of the apps I'm using right now are garbage and sound isn't fully coming through for streaming on Twitch. I have a webcam and obs… but I guess I needed a capture card to push everything together?

I gotta say that the instant you introduced a PC; whether that be a kind of laptop or desktop, streaming from the phone becomes needless. Just use the PC.

Is there anyway of screen capturing my phone, sending the feed to my Mac wirelessly (as I do not have a suitable USB port as I only have one port and that's for the charging) and then using your mac to stream it out using OBS?

I had a really high hopes unfortunately failed like everyone you didn't explain how to split the sound to have it in your headphones and in your stream to and is the most important and most people have a problem with it as well with the recording your voice and and your teammates to hear it

What's about Samsung Galaxy ( not a expensive high best phones) like having two for one to play game and 2nd is basically check date from chats, donations subscriber and following notification.

I have one currently using is Samsung Galaxy halo (J3 16GB )

And other is discarded Samsung J2 PRIME ( 16GB new like, no card and sim.. really good gaming mobile games use..

Want to balance it by having one for easy access to not using PC if l wanted to be in comfortable sitting.

Hi man, i have a question. Ripsaw HD will work for mobile game stream ?

  • APurpleSpy 4 months ago

I watch a lot of mobile gamers, especially in the Fate Grand Order space. The most common setup I see when emulators aren't an option (FGO is VERY anti emulator, it won't run without significant hastle, and they're constantly breaking support) is using Samsungs Sidesync to push full gameplay and audio from a samsung device to a PC, then just capturing that window and using OBS to do everything else.

It's not a very mobile solution but it's probably the best way to stream if you have a samsung phone, a PC, and a decent wifi, no cables required. I'm super stoked about my incoming S10+ as it's going to simplify the streaming process for me significantly. It really blows my mind how far and away sidesync is from any competitors. It just works perfectly, full, clear video and audio over wifi with no gimmicks or subscriptions or problems.

Curious if DeX would be helpful, especially with the upcoming specs on the S10. One problem is that not all games work with DeX. (Not a streamer, but the possibility is interesting to me).

Nice video, but I wouldn't say that the laptop camera is better than the one on the phone

  • chrismin13 4 months ago

You can do it without a capture card by setting up an RTMP Server on your computer and using OBS to combine video and audio. I'll probably be making a tutorial, since I've been looking heavily into streams from cameras, computers and phones. Anyone interested?
