FFSplit Twitch.tv Tutorial: Streaming, Capture, Watermarks, Facecam

Thank you so much for watching! ^.^

I’ve had several people ask me what I use to record and stream. I use FFSplit (http://www.ffsplit.com/), an open source streaming program similar to X-Split. In this video I explain a few things that took me a little while to figure out such as how to best use layers to add a water mark and facecam for streaming.

  1. Nice man, I just dripped a like on your vid. I was using shadow play but the latest update makes the video dark and I cant record at 60 fps without the video and audio getting out of sync. Now I know how to add my camera and watermark. Thanks again.

  2. Hello i have a question ,
I have 11 – 12 mb/S upload im streaming 720 p 30 fpps at 2000 – 2800 bitrate but the problem is that my stream is buffering like sometimes a 3 secs loading for me and viewers but when i lower the bitrate to like 1500 kb/s there is like almost none buffering dunno what to do
At the begining its fine but like 2 mins after buffering is coming 🙁
Can you help me with my buffering problem ? :)

  3. You have this invisible click that happens and then you start doing all the cool stuff…. very disappointing when you waste your time to queue up a vid and watch the entire thing 6 times and get nothing from it.

  4. I don't know if anyone can answer this but I'm very frustrated. I just started twitch and i cant get ffsplit to twitch. my authorization code(s, tried several times) never go through, and end up saying "enter manually" which I have tried before. Ugh.

  5. Everytime I try to stream to twitch, I can only stream for like 10 seconds.  If I try to stream more, Ffsplit kills the stream (once I stopped it), so it doesn't show up on my past broadcasts tab on Twitch. help!

  6. FFSplit works well, setting up everything is good, preview looks nice… But when I start streaming, it goes for max 10 seconds and then stops and says there's an error… Help?
